HWNI member Evan Miller, associate professor of chemistry and molecular & cell biology, has been awarded a 2025 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Supplemental Grant from the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation. The grants, which are only open to past winners of Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards, provide up to $50,000 to enable recipients to finish discrete, high-impact research projects.
Miller’s lab develops and applies chemical and molecular tools to understand and explore neurobiology and cellular physiology. The grant will support his project “A Generalizable Method to Improve the Brightness of Long-Wavelength Fluorophores”.
