Hernández-Morales and Landry included in Atlas of Inspiring Hispanic/Latinx Scientists

HWNI research scientist Miriam Hernández-Morales and HWNI faculty member Markita del Carpio Landry have been included in The Atlas of Inspiring Hispanic/Latinx Scientists. Scientists were chosen for inclusion in the atlas through a nomination process.

Hernández-Morales works in the lab of HWNI member Chunlei Liu, and is affiliated with the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences. Her research interests include neuromodulation, neuronal circuits, and glial cells.

Landry is an associate professor in the departments of Neuroscience and Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering. Her research interests include nanobiotechnology, neurochemical imaging, plant bioengineering, and gene and drug delivery.
