HWNI member James Olzmann, professor of molecular and cell biology and nutritional sciences and toxicology, was one of 14 scientists named a 2025 American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) Fellow. This honor recognizes outstanding scientists for their exceptional contributions to cell biology and the Society. The Fellows are selected by their peers for their scientific excellence, leadership, and service to the cell biology community. Olzmann studies mechanisms of organelle and lipid homeostasis in health and in diseases such as cancer, metabolic diseases, and neurodegenerative diseases. Read more from ASCB.
