Jack Chun-Ting Liu, a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of HWNI member Noah Whiteman, has been awarded a 2026 Life Sciences Research Foundation (LSRF) fellowship. He was one of 33 exceptional postdoctoral researchers chosen this year from across all areas of the life sciences.
Liu was named a Simons Foundation International Fellow. He will receive $85,000 per year, which includes salary and a research allowance. Liu will study the molecular evolution of butterfly adaptations to plant toxins.
