Eleven UC Berkeley faculty, including two members of Berkeley Neuroscience, have been elected members of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the esteemed society of scholars, scientists, writers, artists, as well as civic, business and philanthropic leaders from around the world.
The new members bring the total number of Berkeley faculty so honored to about 250. The 11 are: Eugene Bardach, Jamie H.D. Cate, Christopher J. Chang, Roger W. Falcone, Joshua R. Goldstein, Dr. Robert T. Knight, Donald J. Mastronarde, Eric Schickler, Professor Vera Serganova, Michael Witherell, and Katherine A. Yelick.
